WHO WE ARE

Presenting our Country worldwide as a single productive entity, with the desire to exalt the different peculiarities of each Italian region, so as to highlight the diversity of traditions, cultures and pedoclimatic characteristics that are however part of a varied but at the same time unique context, Italy. This is Cantine NAE, a young company that was born with the idea of producing high quality wines in different regions of the Italian peninsula.

The first production unit of the company is in Abruzzo in the Truentum cellar, born in 2020 and located in the area of Controguerra at the border with the region Marche, where the company headquarters are still located and where the bottling of all wines produced takes place.

At the beginning of 2022 Cantine NAE acquires another young brand, with whom it shares the same (approach) and philosophy. It is Terrescure, a Tuscan wine company active since 2015, thanks to which the production portfolio of Cantine NAE is expanded and consequently its presence in the various markets.

The Company has subsequently identified partners for the production of wines in other regions with a specific focus on the Taranto region in Puglia, where the oenological team follows the production process in all its phases, from the vineyard to the cellar, to obtain wines (aligned) with the company’s mission. The wines designed by Salsedine and Trentacoste are thus added to the selection, for a product portfolio that reflects the desire to (narrate) the peninsula through the excellence of its vineyards.

PHYLOSOPHY

There is no better place than Italy to give birth to a search for modernity that still has deep roots. And it's exactly research the word around which Cantine NAE builds its identity.

Research is the awareness that things must be done carefully, and with the sufficient time. Research is the courage to accept some challenges, to accept that you could lose them, but at the same time to firmly believe you can overcome them.

Research is knowing how to draw a path for your passions so that their drive has a clear direction and leads to surprising results.

Research is also knowing how to go back along the path and try to see what happens if you change path.

The objective of NAE's constant research is the creation of modern wines, in which both taste and image meet the expectations of the market and that projects a distinct, creative, and easily identifiable image on the retail scene.

MISSION

Our “mission” is to exalt the characteristics of the different regions of Italy for the production of quality wines that are able to satisfy the tastes of the whole world. This is possible by aligning the development of wines and products to the current and future needs of our partners/markets, offering the best experience possible.

VISION

Looking at the wine market through the eyes of the consumer, suggesting wines that meet his taste and educating him over time to quality products.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our environmental footprint is clearly visible in the pursuit of sustainability. In the vineyard, we have elevated responsible agriculture with low environmental impact to a method. In the cellar, we adopt natural techniques, reducing consumption.
We try in our own small way to actively participate in protecting the environment, committing ourselves to the adoption of sustainable materials and the significant reduction of emissions.
According to an analysis conducted by Pricewaterhouse Cooper/EY in 2022, Cantine NAE contributed to the overall saving of 132.3 tons of carbon dioxide.

RESPONSIBILITY

Our priority commitment is to continue on this path, constantly working in a sustainable manner and respecting the environment and the precious surrounding nature.

The company has made a conscious choice with its Trentacoste line, opting to use lightweight 400 gram bottles in order to mitigate the environmental impact and minimize emissions resulting from transport. 

HOW TO DISPOSE OUR WINES MATERIALS

We at Cantine NAE work to minimize the environmental impact of our activities.
We adopt a "smart" working methodology aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions; we have implemented sustainable agricultural practices in our vineyards, promoting biodiversity and the responsible use of water resources. 
In line with our mission of environmental responsibility, we aim to constantly reduce the use of plastic and non-recyclable materials.
